Pupil Premium Info
Outwoods Edge Primary School
The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals; those looked after by the local authority currently or in the past, and children of armed service personnel.
All members of staff, governors and teaching assistants at Outwoods Edge are committed to meeting the pastoral, social and academic needs of all our pupils and that includes ‘narrowing the gap’ between vulnerable pupils and their peers. The governors feel that it is important to reserve the right to allocate the funding to support any pupils the school has identified as being disadvantaged.
The following documents give information about how we are planning to spend our pupil premium funding in the current year, and how we spent it last year.
