KS2 SATs Presentation
This afternoon, we held a meeting to discuss the process of SATs - the Statutory Assessment Tests that the children in Year 6 will be sitting in May. These are National Tests sat by all Year 6 pupils in Reading, Writing, Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation.
Thank you to all of you who attended the meeting. If you were not able to attend, we will send out some information with your child tomorrow about the things we discussed. Alternatively, you can click on the link below which will take you to the PowerPoint that we shared during the meeting.
If you have any further questions about SATs, please feel free to contact us at school.

Safer Internet Day 2015
Today is Safer Internet Day 2015. Today, and during the course of this week, the children will be learning about key eSafety issues in their ICT lessons and taking part in other activities to raise their awareness of the importance of keeping themselves safe online.
It was wonderful to see those of you who attended our Safer Internet Day presentation about how you can help to keep your child safe online. For those of you who were unable to attend, the information provided at the meeting is available to download from our website:
I would also recommend visiting the Safer Internet Day website, which has lots of information about how to keep your child safe while they are using online technologies. These include how to use safety tools on online networks and browsers and also how to set up parental controls for different broadband providers.
If you would like any more information about the eSafety curriculum within school, or more information about how you can support your child at home, please get in touch.
Thank you for your support.

Mr Maksymiw's News 9th February 2015
This is a sneak preview of our new school logo. We have been developing it for some time and I want to thank one of our governors, Emma Moore for her invaluable input. The logo design will be rolled out over the next few weeks and replace our existing logo on the letterhead, signs around school, cheques, and compliment slips…….the list is endless.
One of the most important changes will be on the children’s sweatshirts. I am pleased to announce that the governors have agreed to allow the school to purchase a special twentieth anniversary sweatshirt for each child in the school. This design will contain the number 20 inside the new logo. Therefore, we will be sending out a letter asking you to let us know what size sweatshirt you would like for your child so that it can be ordered to arrive before Easter. Sweatshirts with the new logo will be available to buy from the summer term.
Of course, children will be allowed to wear sweatshirts with the exiting design as well as the new ones.
